Parks and Open Spaces

The 2,000 trees that stand proudly on the property today will remain as part of the new landscape, helping define the curves of the boulevards and the boundaries of our home sites. More than 40% of Tartan Ridge will be dedicated parkland, with pathways and trails connecting residents with the local school, parks, preservation areas, and the retail center. The four parks within Tartan Ridge will feature ponds, stone piers, scenic roadways, playgrounds, and small sports fields.

When finished, 270 homes ranging in price from $400,000 to $900,000 will grace the rolling landscape of Tartan Ridge. The residential styles will be as mixed as the land use, with estate and manor homes on large sites; park lots that line the greenspaces; cottages and courtyard homes in a village-like environment; and townhomes with the appeal of big city brownstones.

All homes in Tartan Ridge will offer a style reminiscent of finer American and European homes built from the late 1700s through the early 1900s. While each exterior will be unique, the neighborhood will have a charming consistency through the use of hedges edging the front of every yard, brick sidewalks leading to each front door, deep door recesses, and natural materials used in the entry stoops.
